AN enthusiastic crowd sang and danced with gusto at pop band Rogue Traders' Tuesday night concert in Horsham Town Hall.
Horsham resident Carly Carroll said she enjoyed the show, which attracted an audience of more than 1000 people.
"I was surprised how good a singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte was," Miss Carroll said.
"I've heard her before but I wasn't really that impressed then. She was good on Tuesday, my favourite song was one of the really new ones."
Miss Carroll said she and a girlfriend had a great time in the VIP area.
"Heaps of people turned up, I think everybody had a really good time," she said.
"They ended up moving the barriers back a little which gave people more room so there wasn't any pushing. Safety-wise, security was really good too."
Miss Carroll said the only negative was the timing of the concert.
"The only downer was having the concert on a Tuesday night."
Show organisers said the Rogue Traders' concert went according to plan.
Regional Touring promoter Duane McDonald said the event was hassle-free and band members enjoyed themselves on the night.
"The show sold to capacity, there were 1000 people, and there was still lots of room up the back so the hall seemed to hold a lot more than what we thought," he said.
Mr McDonald said Horsham was the only town so far where the band had gone out post-show.
"They went to the Commercial Hotel after the show, they were in the back in the function room playing pool, they just wanted to go out," he said.
"Natalie was really happy with the whole show, she usually judges the show by the crowd response and the band were all really rapt."
