NATIMUK coach Nathan Fidler was suspended for three matches at Horsham District Football League tribunal on Wednesday night.

Fidler was also given a four- match suspended sentence for the entire 2009 season after he faced three charges from the Rams match with Harrow- Balmoral on Saturday.

He received a combined suspension for all three charges.

Fidler was found guilty of bumping or forceful front-on contact with Harrow- Balmoral's Steve Cameron.

He was also found guilty of striking Harrow-Balmoral's Alastair Penny and attempting to strike Harrow-Balmoral's Brent Penny. Fidler will not play in the Rams' remaining three matches of the season against Laharum, Edenhope- Apsley and Great Western but he will be able to coach the Rams and address the players on the ground.

He will not be able to come onto the ground in any other matches.

Natimuk president Willie Hanson was also found guilty of using abusive, insulting or threatening language towards an umpire.

Hanson was fined $250 and has been ordered to pay the money to the Knott Foundation.

Horsham Saints' Ben Knott was suspended on the same charge as Hanson from Saturday's reserves match against Dimboola and will miss the Saints' final Wimmera league game against Horsham. Knott pleaded guilty, with the umpire describing it as loud abusive language.

Saints reserves team-mate Jayden Burns received a two- match ban for the same charge but in relation to an umpire.

Dimboola's Trenton Miles accepted a one-match ban for attempting to strike another player in the senior match against Saints.

•SWIFTS ruckman Sam Cooper will face the Horsham District Football League tribunal next Wednesday to answer a charge from an incident which left Natimuk teenager Bryce Hateley with fractured vertebrae in his neck.

Cooper was charged with conduct unbecoming a player after a league investigation.
