HORSHAM United Football Club will celebrate the proudest day in its Wimmera League history tomorrow night.
Members of the 1988 premiership team will return to Horsham City Oval to watch the Diggers take on Warrack Eagles 20 years after they beat Warracknabeal to claim their first flag.
The players will then be joined by current players and club supporters for a celebration dinner at Horsham RSL starting at 7pm.
Reunion organiser Donna Winfield said a good representation of the team would be on hand.
"Most are coming back for the night," Winfield said.
Winfield said it was fantastic that premiership hero Phil Bunn had committed to coming back despite his football commitments with TAC Cup team Murray Bushrangers.
"He will address the current players and the rest of the guests which will be great for them," she said.
"He was so instrumental in changing the culture of Horsham United back in the 1980s."
She said there would be entertainment provided throughout the evening.
"There will be a powerpoint presentation, and lots of dancing and catching up," she said.
Winfield said tickets to the reunion were $25 and for further information people should call Donna Johns on 5384 4334 or 0437 213 987.
